The Warriors roster appears to be nearly set with one week left before training camp begins. But during that time as well as the preseason, the front office and the coaching staff will take time to observe a variety of players — including one currently on the roster — to determine who should take the 15th and final full-scale NBA roster spot.

That hasn’t stopped the team from essentially trying out several free agent point guards over the past month. The latest guard to be linked to the Warriors is Isaiah Thomas, as Michael Scotto of HoopsHype reported early Thursday morning.

According to The Athletic’s Anthony Slater, Golden State will work out former Villanova and Chicago Bull guard Ryan Arcidiacono this week, still in search of a potential backcourt reserve.
