Kent Bazemore agrees to a one-year deal with the Los Angeles Lakers
In what has been an uneventful first five hours of free agency for the Golden State Warriors, free agent Kent Bazemore has agreed to a one-year deal with the Los Angeles Lakers, per the Athletic’s Shams Charania.
The initial news came as somewhat of a shock to many in the Warriors Twittersphere as the beloved two-time Warrior decided to take his talents to the cross state rivals. The move upset many Golden State supporters.

Also, somewhat shocking was the follow-up report from Charania stating that Bazemore actually turned down more money and an extra year from the Warriors. Apparently Bazemore felt he would have a larger role and a chance to win a championship with the Lakers.
