Former Warrior Javale McGee's house was broken into, NBA Championship ring stolen

Former member of the Golden State Warriors and current Los Angeles Lakers center Javale McGee had his home burglarized over the weekend, per TMZ Sports.

Among the list of items reported stolen from McGee’s home was one of his two NBA Championship rings he won with the Warriors in 2017 and 2018. Aside from the ring TMZ Sports also reported that two safes were stolen from the former champs’ home. The safes contained cash and jewelry with the total value of the stolen items reportedly exceeding $200,000.

The goggles Javale wore during one of the post-championship victory celebrations were also reported stolen.

There have been no arrests made as of yet and no suspects have been named, however law enforcement is looking through surveillance footage in hopes of finding some leads.

The big man signed a two-year, $8.2 million deal with the Lakers in July.

Watch Javale receive his 2018 championship ring but not before former Warrior Andre Iguodala plays a quick prank on him.
