It’s safe to say that everyone wins as fans tune in to the Warriors vs Lakers play-in matchup. In all honesty, it’s the only play in-game worth watching. It’s two worthy defenses going at it. It’s two household franchises going head to head. And most importantly, it’s two of the biggest brands meeting once again in the postseason: Stephen Curry vs LeBron James.

Los Angeles went 7-13 in the 17-time All Star’s 20-game absence because of an ankle injury, and lost to Sacramento and Toronto in two contests with James before a reaggravation of his ankle has him sidelined for at least the next pair of games.

Warriors Come Back to Beat Defending Champs in LA

The Lakers led the Warriors for the first 45 minutes on Monday.

But the only score that matters is when the clock reads all zeros.

The Golden State Warriors (7-6) defeated the Los Angeles Lakers (11-4) 115-113 at Staples Center behind a 32-16 closing run, forcing a missed LeBron James 3-pointer as time expired to seal the victory.

For the second straight game, the mostly young and inexperienced players that currently make up the Golden State Warriors were unable to upset a team with a far greater amount of experience and talent.
