My thoughts on how next year will look for the Golden State Warriors

Here we are at the end of August. The NBA is being played in a bubble in an altered season which was close to being cancelled due to an ongoing global pandemic. The Warriors, along with 7 other teams, have had their season cut short. The NBA playoffs were nearly cancelled due to protest of yet another horrific incident involving police brutality. All in the wake of the tragic passing of Kobe Bryant. If someone had told me on New Years Eve that all of the above mentioned things would take place in the coming months I would have laughed at how outrageous it sounded. But here we are. Life has somehow continued to go on in the midst of all the madness that has been 2020 thus far and it will continue to go on for the Golden State Warriors as well.

The Golden State Warriors return next season at full health, reminding the ever-competitive Western Conference that there is one more threat to account for, and at its core is the three-time champion trio of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green. Looking ahead, those three will welcome a new addition to the fold, and step one of that process begins with the NBA Draft Lottery.

Curry’s Return Provides Television Ratings Boost

It was a Thursday night game in early March featuring an Eastern Conference team on the fringe of title contention and a Western Conference team sitting at 14-48, comfortably the worst record in the NBA.

But Stephen Curry made his return from injury. So naturally it was one of the highest-rated NBA games of the year.
