NBA's L2M Report says Green's Game Clinching Block Was Clean

Following the Warriors’ comeback in Game 4 — the NBA released the Last Two Minute Report. With each game of the series, the controversy in Game 4 was over the last hail-mary 3-point attempt by Grizzlies center Jaren Jackson Jr.

Warriors forward Draymond Green contested the shot with a textbook flyby, but Grizzlies Head Coach Taylor Jenkins thought otherwise.

“There was a lot of contact,” Jenkins said. “[It] was probably a rushed shot on our part. But, [it] just didn’t go our way.”

The rest of the L2M report detailed that there was a foul committed by Grizzlies forward Desmond Bane on Warriors superstar Stephen Curry.

The refs also missed two travels by the Grizzlies.

The other call that got a lot of attention was the foul committed by Bane on Curry in the final seconds of the fourth.

As Curry went for the rebound, Bane shoves Curry out of the way and got an easy put-back, until the refs saw the action and gave Bane the foul.

Infamously, Undisputed host Skip Bayless claimed that it was a flop on Curry’s end, but when has Bayless ever made a claim that was based on logic and not total bias?

In a series that has seen the drama range from the “broke the code” tweet saga from Grizzlies guard Ja Morant to ejections and off-the-court antics on part of the Grizzlies — the L2M report adds some clarity to what was a gritty, grind-it-out style win for the Warriors.

The Warriors could put away the Grizzlies for good on Wednesday, May 10.
