Steph and Ayesha Curry Set to Host HBO Game Show
Steph Curry continues to grow in his stardom off the court, and Unanimous Media brand is growing with it. In early 2021, it was announced that Steph and his wife Ayesha (who herself is a restaurant owner with multiple exclusive spots in multiple cities) would be the hosts of a game show on HBO Max, HBO’s new streaming service and competitor in the space.
The Currys will be hosting About Last Night, a remake of the 1970s game show called Tattletales. The premise of the show is that the couple invites other celebrity couples on to have them answer questions, and they both have to get the same answer to the question without communicating how they’re going to answer.
This is a tried-and-true dynamic that has led to some entertaining moments, and should have a lot of celebrities willing to participate. The exclusive, which included an interview with Steph and Ayesha, came from People magazine, and the Currys seemed very excited to get the show off the ground.
"We'd actually always wanted to do something together and wanted something around the premise of a date night… We don't get to do a lot of them, but we love going on them… It's really that simple” Ayesha told People when they asked about the reason for taking on the show.
Steph and Ayesha have been very active celebrities recently, with philanthropic endeavors in their own Bay Area community such as a meal program for underprivileged students. While the news around them hasn’t always been positive due to inept and false reporting, the Currys are one of the most well-known around the social sphere as great people, and their gameshow seems to intend to reflect the relationships they so aptly build with others not only in their own respective spheres of sports and cuisine, but also in others who they cross paths with.
