Iguodala responds to Skip Bayless Tweet Regarding His Decision To Return to Golden State Opposed to Joining LeBron in L.A.
One of the more well known sports talking heads, Skip Bayless, went to Twitter recently to do what he does best, attempt to stir up controversy. This time, as he’s done many times before, he set his targets on Lakers superstar, LeBron James. However, he did so by way of three-time champion and newly returning member of the Golden State Warriors, Andre Iguodala. Iguodala took notice and made sure to add his own two cents via tweet reply.
Bayless: Sounds like Andre Iguodala, age 37, just chose to return to Golden St over becoming LeBron's teammate. Why join him when you've routinely beaten him and always been his defensive nemesis? Besides, the Lakers are a little too old for Iggy.
Iguodal: Nobody stopping him my guy… buddy goD status.. ALWAYS love!

This was a situation where someone tries to pit two people against each other but one of the individuals quickly clears the air and diffuses any type of animosity or ill will that could potentially result.
Andre is very well respected throughout the league and this is just one of the many reasons as to why so many of his peers hold him in a high regard. He is all for supporting and elevating his fellow athletes, especially if he sees that people are making an attempt to slander his NBA brothers.
Ask Stephen Curry, I’m sure he would concur. Curry has been the recipient of constant praise and verbal protection by way of his former and now once again current teammate. Iguodala has been seen and heard on many interviews speaking extremely highly of the two-time League MVP. He also has mentioned on several different occasions that Curry receives unwarranted slander from not only the talking heads but also from his peers around the league on other teams. Saying that jealousy plays a factor in that. Swipe to view all the clips in the Instagram post below.
The former Finals MVP is not afraid to speak his mind, especially if it’s to defend his fellow NBA brethren. That has been proven time and time again. This is also one reason that so many Warriors fans are ecstatic to have the three-time champ back on the team. They know that he won’t stand for any of the slander, especially directed towards number 30.
If you haven’t had a chance to check out Iguodala’s Twitter page, you should check it out. I find it to be pretty funny at times.
Check out this quote tweet he had shortly after the news broke of his return to Golden State.
