Warriors Close Trip with Win Despite Poor Shooting

On a roadtrip of down-to-the-wire affairs, Wednesday was no different.

This time, however, instead of frantically picking up two technicals, Draymond Green calmly knocked down a pair of foul shots with seven seconds left to ice the game.

The Golden State Warriors (18-15) took down the Indiana Pacers (15-15) 111-107 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse, ending Golden State’s time away from the Chase Center at 2-2. The contest was Indiana’s first game in a week after winter storms and COVID-19 protocols from other teams prevented it from playing.

Shorthanded Warriors Take Down the Miami Heat in OT Thriller

Despite missing one of their cornerstone players in Draymond Green, the Golden State Warriors impressively defeat the Miami Heat 120-112 in overtime.

Curry Drops Another 40-Piece as Warriors Edge Magic

This wasn’t an easy one, folks. As Bob Fitzgerald said what felt like 15 times on the night, the Magic were without a point guard, which ultimately made things difficult for the Dubs.

Warriors, Green's Shot Miss the Mark in Loss

Stephen Curry had scored 14 straight points for the Warriors when Golden State had the ball down three with 8.7 seconds remaining – but he didn’t get the chance to tie the game from long range.

Instead, seemingly trying to induce a shooting foul with a chance to tie the game at the line, Draymond Green bizarrely took a 31-footer which missed badly, the Spurs grabbed the rebound and the Warriors’ fate was sealed.

Shorthanded, High-Scoring Affair Ends in Victory

With three recent injuries to Warriors that have played at center, Golden State had just nine active players with none listed as taller than 6’7”.

And it was one of Steve Kerr’s taller players – reaching his loftiest heights in a rollercoaster season – that stole the show in the team’s highest-scoring game of the campaign.

Behind a career-high 40 points from Kelly Oubre Jr. on 14-of-21 shooting and 7-of-10 from long range, the Golden State Warriors (12-10) defeated the Dallas Mavericks (9-14) 147-116 in the first of two matchups in Dallas.
