Warriors laced: ANTA KT2 “Blazing 3”
In honor of Klay’s historic night against the Chicago Bulls, I had to grab these from out the stash. The Anta KT2 “Blazing 3”. This was a sneaker Klay wore during the 2017 NBA 3-Point contest. The sneaker pays homage to Klay’s deadly three point shooting as well as the Golden State Warriors NBA record 73-9 season with a 73 on a clear bottom sole joined by multiple pictures of the man himself.
We all saw the slump Klay was in to start this season. But was there ever any doubt by anyone that he wouldn’t bounce himself out of this funk? Previous games before Chicago, Klay was shooing just 5-36 from three point range. Something we Warriors fans are not accustomed to seeing. We all knew Klay was bound to break out of it someday. The question was “When?” But on this historic night in Chicago, Klay would turn the light switch on and go on to make an NBA record 14 three pointers while surpassing his teammate and fellow splash brother Stephen Curry with the most 3 pointers made in a single game (Curry - 13).
The camaraderie this team has is unlike any other in the NBA or even might I say in all of professional sports. The way this team unselfishly plays for one another and feeds the hot hand with no second guessing or egos makes this team one that will go down in history as a true dynasty. The fact that Steph Curry kept feeding Klay and celebrated with him as he broke his own record, speaks volumes to the character and player Steph really is. Its all about teamwork in this game and the Warriors are the definition of that.
But rest assured we know Steph is more than capable and will try to regain the helm upon the 3-point single game record. For all we know we could have a 3-point fiesta between the two or even three with Durant joining the splash party. Dare I even say Boogie?? We’re only 8 games in and these guys are playing at a truly ridiculous level to start the season. Other teams can try to duplicate what the Warriors have but it will never be replicated. #LOCKEDIN
