Warriors Laced: Converse x NBA Collection
The 2017-2018 NBA season was where we saw Nike take over Adidas as the official NBA outfitter of the NBA. This was something I have been waiting for ever since Adidas took over in 2006. Never was an Adidas fan so Nike taking over was long overdue and something I was and still am super excited about.

To celebrate this new relationship, Nike and Converse got together to release a special collection for true NBA fans. Three different iterations of the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star were set to release. Gameday, Legend and Franchise edition for their respected teams. The Gameday collection, as seen here, was constructed using actual game-day jerseys worn by NBA players on the hardwood. Only 250 pairs were made of the Gameday collection and were only released online and at select sneaker boutiques.
Me being a huge Converse Chuck Taylor guy, Warriors fan and sneaker collector, these were a no brainer. The way they executed the design along with the use of premium materials on the 1970 Hi definitely puts this sneaker on another level.
